All items sold by Browns of Congleton are 100% guaranteed new (unless stated as pre-owned). We are Authorised UK Stockists of all the brands we sell.
All items are inspected before they are dispatched, but please make sure that you still inspect your purchased item(s) as soon as you receive it, while any tags or protective layers are still attached.

Once you receive your purchased item(s), if for any reason you are unhappy or it does not meet your requirements, you may return them for a refund as per the Distance Selling Regulations - If notified within 7 working days of receipt and returned within 30 days, a full refund will be issued, if notified after 7 working day of receipt and returned within 30 days, a refund of the cost of the item less our shipping will be issued.
This amount is dependant on the service used, if the FREE service is used it will be £3.25, if express tracked in used it will be £4.50 and if Special Delivery is used it will be £5.95 - £12.95 depending on the weight. Thee prices may vary to the cost shown on your order, as we cover the extra cost of some services.
Please note if you choose to upgrade your delivery service at checkout this extra cost is non refundable in all situations, as a free service will always have been available.
We strongly advise that you include proof of receipt and a cover note, stating the reason for your return and your full name and address that the item was sent to. This enables us to process your needs faster. Please include either your email address or phone number, so we are able to contact you if necessary. If you wish to be informed when we receive your item, please include this in your cover note and one of our sales team will be happy to let you know. The return shipping cost of any non faulty item is the responsibility of the buyer.
Please note: all returns must be sent back in original packaging with all contents coming back to us. Please send all returns to the address at the bottom of this page. We do not charge restocking fees. Please allow up to 2 working days for refunds to be processed. A refund will only be processed to the card or PayPal account that was used.
Please note: Items may be returned for a refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt (on the terms that the item has not been worn or personalised as we are unable to re-sell this item) unless faulty.
If you wish to exchange your item, we strongly advise that you contact our sales team on 01260289689 so they are able to put the item "to one side" for you. Please send your item back to the address at the bottom of this page with all the correct packaging and a brief note stating the item you wish to exchange for. If the exchange item is less in price, the difference will be refunded. If the exchange item is higher in price, one of our sales team will contact you for payment.
Please Note: An item can only be exchanged if it hasnt been worn or used with any signs of wear.
Once an order has been placed, you are able to cancel up until the point that the item has been diapatched. To cancel your order, please get in touch with us via and means of contact from our Contact Us page.
Once the item has been dispatched, you are no longer able to cancel. Please then refer to our Refund .
If the item is faulty within 30 days of receipt, as long as it is still in stock, we will happily replace it for another new one. Please call our office on 01260 289689 and we will email you a FREE returns label and provide a returns number. If you return without requesting a returns number and label you will be responsible for the postage cost. Once we receive your item back we will replace it ASAP. Please include a brief note of the fault.
If an item bought from us turns faulty after 30 days and still under its manufacturers guarantee*, we will happily deal with this on your behalf with the manufacturer. The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer. A service that is tracked should be used in case of delay or loss in transit. The return shipping to yourself needs to be included with your item, £5.95. You can also return direct to the manufacturers if you prefer.
